The Surreal Sound of Obe #3

'Misery' - by Merlot

I went in to the garden to find myself some rest, but all the world is misery to me...
A rough and ready recording made on the 7th of December 1994 by Merlot in a practise studio in Stirling - Misery is on of the only surviving recordings. Unfortunately the tape is a bit worse for wear, and the original recording was made by hanging a few cheap microphones from the ceiling. I apologise for the terrible sound quality. I just hope you like the song. John Miller wrote it and the arrangement is by Merlot. John Miller on Acoustic guitar and vocals, Neil Allen on drums, Bob Thakuria on electric guitar and, yours truly (Paul Sloman) on bass.
