What is Obedeith?

The Obedeith Experimental Music and Writing Web Site (Post-Seppuku Heaven) aims to bring original pieces of music and writing of all persuasions to you the surfers. In Post-Seppuku heaven we are pleased to lose our heads as we spend far too long torturing ourselves for our "masters".

The origins of the word Obedeith are steeped in mystery. There are many legends as to what or whom it refers to. It is written that before The Flood mankind lived in a golden age. There was peace and stability in the world and the people were happy. We know this is so because there still remain a few survivors walking on Earth today. By following The Way they have acheived a longevity of life that we only dream of. The wisest and strongest of these men is known by The Initiates as The Grand Obe. He teaches to us some basic ideas in order for us to grow:

• Drink many a toast to your ancestors.
• Drink the wine from love's overflowing cup.

• Drink for your Mother's health.
